A great starter course for puppies

Good content delivered in an easy-to-understand way with lots of friendly encouragement. Kiz has learnt to concentrate (or at least start concentrating!) when there are other dogs and people around. And she's started on the process of having recall and being able to walk politely on a lead. This is a great starter course for a puppy. I'd encourage any new puppy owner to take their pup along as soon as it's fully vaccinated. Puppies and their handlers learn how to develop all the basic skills as well as the ability to focus while other dogs and people are around. The trainers are kind and encouraging and give individual advice.

"Charlotte's calm and encouraging instruction and advice at each step. Meeting other dog owners and sharing experience. Learning with our pup and having fun with the training games. The training games were well thought out for the needs of the pups. We need to continue to practice and implement them in real life. Charlotte is a wonderful trainer and is patient with both the dogs and owners. Her wealth of experience really helps in all situations and when you are asking advice. I would always recommend Charlotte."

Puppy classes in lovely open field have been huge fun for pup and me. Learnt so much and Charlotte is so patient with us owners (when I’m tangled up in long dog lead) and so loving towards everyone’s dog. Charlotte is a real natural with all animals and a rare breed of their own! How lucky to have genuine, caring animal lovers who you know your doggies are safe with.

Being a fully qualified and accredited dog trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Training, The Dog Trainer School and the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter we use force-free and positive reinforcement methods to create a fun learning environment for you and your dog. Whether you need help training a specific cue in a 1-2-1 private session or you would like to train in a small group class, Tails Trails can help you and your dog reach your training goals. 

Our training sessions (1-2-1 and group) are held in our outdoor training paddock in Widdington, further location details will be sent across at the time of booking. However, there is the option of having our trainer come to your home if you require a home visit, perhaps you'd like to get started early with a new puppy before they are fully vaccinated or maybe a nervous dog that needs that comfort of their own home, we're here to help and cater for your needs.
