Manners in Motion
Ready to take your dog's training out into the real world?
Our Manners in Motion sessions combine practical training with a fun, relaxed group walk, helping you and your dog build confidence around everyday distractions. Rather than training in a hall or enclosed area, we'll put those important life skills into practice where they matter most.
Perfect for dogs that have completed a puppy course or have a basic understanding of cues, these sessions focus on:
-
Loose lead walking
-
Reliable recalls
-
Calm behaviour around other dogs and people
-
Focus and engagement with you
-
Settling while out and about
-
Building confidence in new environments
-
Polite greetings and everyday manners
Every session is slightly different, making the most of the environment around us and introducing fun training games and challenges along the way. It's a fantastic opportunity to continue your dog's education, meet like-minded owners, and enjoy quality time together while building skills that last a lifetime.
Whether your goal is calmer walks, better focus, or simply enjoying adventures together, Manners in Motion will help you get there, one step at a time.
Suitable for all dogs (must be happy to be around others, please email us if you are unsure)
Small group sizes ensure everyone receives plenty of individual guidance and support.

Being a fully qualified and accredited dog trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Training, The Dog Trainer School and the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter we use force-free and positive reinforcement methods to create a fun learning environment for you and your dog. Whether you need help training a specific cue in a 1-2-1 private session or you would like to train in a small group class, Tails Trails can help you and your dog reach your training goals.Â
Our training sessions (1-2-1 and group) are held in our outdoor training paddock in Saffron Walden, further location details will be sent across at the time of booking. However, there is the option of having our trainer come to your home if you require a home visit, perhaps you'd like to get started early with a new puppy before they are fully vaccinated or maybe a nervous dog that needs that comfort of their own home, we're here to help and cater for your needs.
