KAD Training Sessions
These sessions are designed to help children learn how to safely and confidently interact with dogs. Through fun, age-appropriate activities, kids are taught how to read a dog’s body language, approach and handle dogs respectfully, and build positive relationships with their furry friends. It’s a great way to boost confidence, reduce fear, and promote safety and kindness around dogs.
KAD Fear of Dogs Program
This supportive program is specially designed for children who are fearful of dogs. Throughout 10 engaging sessions (7 online and 3 in person), we help children gradually build confidence, understanding, and comfort around dogs. Using proven, child-friendly techniques, we work at their pace to replace fear with knowledge, trust, and positive experiences. Ideal for families looking to help their child feel safer and more at ease around dogs.

Being a fully qualified and accredited dog trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Training, The Dog Trainer School and the UK Dog Behaviour and Training Charter we use force-free and positive reinforcement methods to create a fun learning environment for you and your dog. Whether you need help training a specific cue in a 1-2-1 private session or you would like to train in a small group class, Tails Trails can help you and your dog reach your training goals.
Our training sessions (1-2-1 and group) are held in our outdoor training paddock in Widdington, further location details will be sent across at the time of booking. However, there is the option of having our trainer come to your home if you require a home visit, perhaps you'd like to get started early with a new puppy before they are fully vaccinated or maybe a nervous dog that needs that comfort of their own home, we're here to help and cater for your needs.
