Meet Our Team

Charlotte has always been a true animal fan, but it's definitely all about the dogs! Starting off "just" walking dogs whilst teaching swimming, she realised there was a need for a more personal approach for dog sitting compared to some kennels and that's where Tails Trails came in - a loving, reliable, friendly and adventure filled home from home boarding service. From the adventures daycare, walks and boarding brought, there was something missing from Charlotte's past swim teaching history - that's when the hours and hours of studying to become a dog trainer came in! Now a fully accredited dog trainer with the Institute of Modern Dog Training, Charlotte is enjoying the balance between adventures and training the doggies of Saffron Walden! When Charlotte has the rare opportunity to explore the world with just her own dogs she loves taking part in agility, doggy swimming or working her working cocker spaniel in the fields.

Having lived alongside animals for longer than he can remember, Jesse has always had a huge passion for working with animals - from show jumping horses to a vet's assistant, he's decided a few years ago to join Tails Trails and showing the dogs the adventures of the Essex countryside footpaths. Jesse also runs a local heritage farm - Mole Hall, so when he's not exploring with the dogs, he's taking care of the rare breed animals on the farm from sheep to horses and of course plenty of chickens too! When Jesse has any magical spare time, he also enjoys working his working cocker spaniel in the fields as well as taking part in canicross competitions with them.
